Jessica Valentini, born in Florence (Italy), started dancing at age 4, inspired by her parents, who ran one of the top dance schools in Tuscany. With a background in contemporary, hip hop, and Latin styles, she quickly rose through the competition ranks, winning the Italian Championship in 2012 and 2015. At 20, she fell in love with Salsa and Bachata. In 2022, she joined Johnny Vazquez’s “Imperio Azteca” and began performing at major festivals worldwide.
Willy Arey, born in Mexico, grew up in a salsa-filled home – his father Memo Arey was a respected local dancer. Willy started dancing professionally at 17, deeply influenced by Johnny Vazquez and Ramón Morales. He later joined “Imperio Azteca” himself and toured globally. A finalist and champion in numerous international Salsa competitions, Willy is also the founder of Rumbafest, a prominent Salsa festival in Mexico running since 2012.
They teamed up in 2023, and ever since, they’ve been igniting crowds with their passion, talent, and connection – both on stage and in class.
