After more than a decade, one of the most beloved bachata bands of all time returns to the place where many dancers first experienced them live - at Rovinj!
On Friday, June 5th (23:00–00:30), the SBF main stage at Adris will welcome back Grupo Extra for a special live concert as part of the Bachata Family Reunion!
For many bachateros, Grupo Extra is the band that defined a generation of social dance floors. With global hits like “Me Emborrachare,” “A Través del Vaso,” and “Hoy Se Bebe,” they built a sound that blends modern bachata with merengue, reggaeton and Latin pop energy - music made to be danced, sung and celebrated together.
The group first performed in Rovinj back in 2014, at the Croatian Summer Salsa Festival, delivering a concert that quickly became part of festival history. Now, 11 years later, they return to the same city - this time for the Summer Bachata Festival and a symbolic Bachata Family Reunion moment with the dancers who grew up with their music.
The concert is included in all passes that grant access to Friday evening at SBF, including the 2IN1 Pass, 2IN1 Party Pass, SBF Premium Pass, and other tickets valid for Friday night.
After eleven years, the reunion feels both natural and symbolic - a return of a band whose music has accompanied countless dancers on social floors around the world.
